    I thought that was more Henry VII's trick. One recent queen (I forget
    who) was notorious for liking people's nicest possessions while
    visiting dropping really unsubtle hints until they'd give them to her.
    It reached the point at which people would hide all their nicest
    silverware, art works etc when she was about to visit.
