Not an insignificant question, but not hard to rationalize as you're also
accepting other Animals and Plants like Horses and Grass..

    >Are there any potatoes in Cerilia? How about corn? Cane sugar ?

Well, actually Sugarcane is an Asian species and was brought to the
New World from Europe(maybe even by Columbus from the Canary Islands)

    >If you think so, where?

Where they can be grown, where else?

One solution, if you want tomatoes, sugar, and spices (Asian) or maize,
potatoes, and pumpkin, is to distribute foods among the races and create a
certain emnity of the palate between racial/dietary groups.

Spices have already been mentioned in the Khinasi sups. Why not tomatoes,
and sugar. While we're at it we could add the Mastetian's favorite grain
teff (which never spread from Ethiopia in RL), now confined to a few
    realms in the islamd states.

Potatoes might be favored among the Brechts and Rjurik, where the frosts
    are a greater threat.

The vos are well known for their love of sweet potatoes.

Food from the Americas (potatas, tomatls, and strawberries! Yum!) can be on
the Cerilia continent. If I were devising a campaign world, I wouldn't toss
the thought away of planting cherries along side with watermeleons or gourds
(squash, pumpkin squash, etc.). Corn could also replace wheat (but I thought
that there was a wheat plant in the Americas that had gone native along with
    some of the people here).

So we could add them in. But it's up to the BR product manager, of course.

Well, I for one certainly want food from the Americas in Cerilia; I don't
think my character would survive without chocolate any better than I myself
    would.

I'd say no. If anyone discovers the new world, Potatos could
revolutionise Cerilian society - bonuses to attempts to rule up hilly
provinces or whatever. Big time useful.

Tobacco would be unknown, although hemp cultivation would be pretty
    common.
