Do not only look at the ground it limits your vision. How about a STARCHART
of Cerilia for the black and white part. A hearts desire of a Ruornil Priest
with Navigation, astronmy, astrology and a stargazer.

    Ed,
I've got it! I've got it! Let's have an updated map on the
color side and on the black and white side have the correponding Shadow
    World with some places highlighted.

Just a note on this poster thing. As someone wisefully pointed out, (sorry i
don't remember who it was) this is a PROMOTIONAL poster, and not some
giveaway accessory/luxury/gift from TSR to experienced BR players. Ie, most
of the proposals, while pretty interesting and useful to us, will have no
meaning for the guys that would judge whether or not to buy BR because of
the poster. I believe we need something that shows just how diverse and
detailed BR is, and how interesting it can be to be a regent, these two
points shown through perhaps heraldry, a big color map with lots of ruins
and such stuff, and some notes on big families of Cerilia and such info.

    hello, Adam Theo here,
okay, since we don't know what else will be in this new revised setting,
    i'll list many options:
    first, for the B&W side:
i strongly reccommend you use this side for a map of Cerilia, like the
one in the origional. but have the graphics much more "rich", and more
"olde style", like the old european explorers' maps of the coatlines and
inlands. that style on a B&W will look really cool, and keep the
terrains in the drawings (IMO we don't need the domain tracking map as a
full-sized map), and DO ROADS! DO KEEPS and FORTIFICATIONS (but don't
show the levels). use smaller type and keep the size of the type of the
thing constant throught the different things being labeled (don't have
roesone's label larger/smaller than Ghoere's, but have the label of a
place such as "the Straits of Ariele(sp)" smaler than the realm's labels
and the same size as "the Stonecrown Mountains"'s label.) also, in
addittion to having the name of the realm, try to have the crest of arms
of the realm as well. i know this would be crowded, so maybe instead of
having all 100+ realms of cerilia individually labeled on the map, have
a number or letter combination on the map at each realm, and off to the
side have the corresponding combo with the name and heraldric symbol.
THIS IS THE SET UP I RECCOMMMEND.
    for the Colour side:
take what you did with the Conspectus (little comments of the races,
maps of the races' expansiions), and expand, put more dialog of the
races and induvidual important NPC's (not only have little comments of
the elves, khinasi, dwarves, etc, but also have a comment from Prince
Avan, Archduke Boeruine, Gorgon, Manslayer, Spider, Prince-Paladin of
Ariya, White Witch, some rjurik rulers (traditional and Taelshore), and
do so with all the cultures. i don't reccommend including anymore than
you have about the other lands, except to mention that they are the
places that these races came from and *hint* about some things of those
places. include a short history of Cerilia.

that's easy.... from what i have read (the Birthright Novels) the shadow
world is the exact copy of cerilia. that's how michael roele was able to
counter attack the baron of broeruine so skillfully. since time doesn't
continue once you enter the shadow world, he just took his troops to a
spot in the shadow world, and came back into cerilia in that same spot.
that is of course, assuming there was enough of a link in that area to
    bring them back...

Heh. They were wrong. Lots of disinformation has been spread about the
    Shadow World.

Dare I say it? The truth is coming ...

I love disinformation. Rumors, sages and bards who are mis-informed,
ancient prophecies which seem true, but are false, multiple explanations
of the gods, magics, the cosmos, the shadow ... Its all good.
