you ask?

Ok; going to go from ad-hoc voting to an actual tally. Vote for your top
three choices of what city you'd like to be the one. I know this wasn't my
idea, but I think it's a great idea, so send your votes to me:

jruhlconob@sprynet.com

Rather than flooding the board with them. Quorum will be 50 votes. If there
are fewer than 50 votes, then I'd say there isn't enough interest.

Include in your vote not only your top three choices (3 points will go to
your 1st choice, 2 to your 2nd, and 1 to your 3rd), but rules
recomendations, I.E.;

Characters; how many each player should be able to run, and maximum level.
(my personal opinion is that people should be able to run as many
characters as they feel they can bring to life, but no more than one of
9th-15th level, and none higher than 15th. . .should be a *good* reason for
this one character's existance; that character should have a *very* well
developed history and backround to explain their prominance, and what
people who interact with that character should remember most is how well he
or she was played, not how "tough" the character is.)

Governance: both governance OOC as players and IC as characters.

Rules: Die rolls to keep everything "legal", or concentration on
interaction/dialogue.
I myself vote more towards the latter, but say what you will.

I'd also love it if folks would check out Shadowland (www.shadowland.org),
IMO the best online "city" gaming environement there is (anyone a super hot
HTML and Java programmer with lottsa time on their hands and buku server
space? If you build it, they will come. . .)
Thing about characters on Shadowland, for the most part it isn't
numbers-oriented. It's dialogue/role-playing oriented (though the SL stuff
is significantly more combat oriented than the Hunting Grounds/World of
Darkness stuff is, admitedly).

I just think this is a cool idea and I'm freakin out over it. SLOW DOWN? I
wanna get started already. .
