As I understannd it, the difference is that charms subvert the will
(charm person, suggestion etc.), while enchantments neutralise it.
Eg. When charmed a creature thinks it's in control of it's actions, but
when enchanted (eg. hold person) it knows it's being controlled but
can't do anything about it. Sleep is an enchantment, and the elven
immunity is in addition to the elven immunity to charms.
Does that make sense?
