Tribes of the Heartless Wastes
Ted,
What are the plans for the release of the Tribes supplement? Will it be
shipped on time? When can we start to look for it on the shelves?

According to Larry, our production guru, TRIBES should ship in the second
half of this month (today being the second half of the month). I'd look for
it in stores just before Christmas (please, please, please, please ...)
It won't do you much good for Christmas shopping, but maybe for those gift
certificates we all get from friendly, non-gamer, family members.

I'm with you "(please, please, please, please ...)" come out by Christmas....
but one point..slightly off topic...I read in the most recent Dragon, that
it doesn't look like anything new after Tribes is coming out until late
next year? Any way that date can be pushed a bit closer? I'd LOVE to see
some Brechtur Domains...(and they're small supplements, "(please, please,
please, please ...)" make some more :)

This is a special promotion TSR and the RPGA are offering retailers in the
hopes that they will be able to use the adventures to spread awareness
about our games and specific products. Right now, the only way you can get
these adventures is to be part of the Adventurer's Guild (a retailer
support program formed by the RPGA). However, I would not be surprised if
these adventures became available at some future date to the public at large.
BTW, I highly recommend the TRIBES adventure. It was written by Sean
Reynolds and edited by Steve Miller--and I approved it myself. I think it
cleverly introduces the Vosgaard region to players of BIRTHRIGHT and really
sets the stage for future campaigning.
