Sources
If a PC wizard is able to convince another NPC wizard to relinquish
claim to sources, does the PC wizard simply inherit those sources at
their current levels (those built-up by the NPC) with all associated ley
lines or does the PC wizard have to go through the lengthy process of
"getting to know the land, finding the sources of magic, and building up
the source levels" for each particular province? This came up in our
game due to the fact that other regents (not wizards) used tactics to
take over other NPC owned guild and law holdings, without destroying the
foundations for those holdings. The PC wizard felt that it would be
quite unfair that he would be forced to go through the time consuming
process of source location and fortification while others simply
absorbed or invested foreign holdings into their own portfolios.
