    Ed,
I have been using the AD&D CD-ROM Core Rules in my games, and I was just
wondering if there has been any thought about producing a Birthright
    CD-ROM core rules.

From talking with the Core Rules software guys at GenCon, they are working on
COMPLETELY revising the the old software to make it much more than it's present
incarnation of moderately useful (don't get me wrong, Core Rules has saved me
lots of time and I use it for all my BR NPCs). From what they told me the new
software will be very adaptable, and allow for a large amount of
customization. What I heard made me want to buy it (and not be overly upset
    that I bought the original).

There are no plans to produce specific, world-based versions of the Core Rules
CD-ROM. What we'll probably end up doing is including the campaign-specific
information in a future version or patch...

    Good Gaming!

There has been talk along these lines. I hope it happens, but don't look
for it really soon (it takes a while for us to get these things set up).
