    Book of Priestcraft TOC

While you're waiting, here's an abbreviated, annotated Table of Contents
    for the BoP:

    The Pantheon of Cerilia
Each of the major deities of Cerilia (the humancentric ones--Moradin and
humanoid deities are discussed in other AD&D products) get fleshed out here
(about 6-8 pages each, give or take a page or two). The basic description
(as presented in the BR rulebook) opens each section, followed by a MUCH
more detailed description of the deity's avatar, the church, the
priest/paladin requirements, and other useful stuff (a few sample specific
churches are outlined). Each section also includes a listing of every known
temple to the deity (not including Vosgaard temples--this is a player & DM
book, after all) along with its location, ruler, and strength.

    Strategies and Tactics
In a section very similar to the one from BOOK OF MAGECRAFT (hey, people
said they liked it--thank you; I worked on that one. Rich Baker did this
installment), the tactics of Temple Rulership are discussed from several
different perspectives. There's also a discussion of Religion vs. State in
Cerilia, and, as in BoM, there's a discussion of specific domain actions.

    Investiture
Finally--a whole chapter on Investiture, including the Ceremony itself,
the different types of investiture (including elven investiture), and "the
    Land's Choice."

    Spells for Cerilian Priests
New conventional and realm spells, along with Battle Spells (per
BoM--again, thanks for liking that) and the rules for use.

    Cerilian Magical Items and Relics
You know the drill by now--per BoM, including discussions of holy relics
    and artifacts.

    Appendix: Useful Lists
Stuff you'll want to reference early and often.

Hope that helps make the wait easier.

BTW, I know you will, but PLEASE let me know when you get BoP. I want to
see how long it takes. And check with your retailers--have they actually
ordered it? Have they talked to their distributors? We have lots of orders
in (I've been told), but has your store gotten it/ordered enough?

Our local hobby store claims to have ordered it, but it has not yet
    shown up.

On a similar note, I have been trying to get certain TSR products there,
so Wednesday I tried order them through him. He said I couldn't order
TSR products due to ther irregularity with which TSR is getting things
    out.

Now, I don't know how true his statement is, but that sure is bad for
    your PR Ed.

    Anybody else had similar problems?

I know from the perspective of a dealer, our top two distributors are
having about a 10% fill rate on items that should be out. It makes it
really tough (and we get a lot of upset customers.) Over the last
couple of weeks it has been a little better. I have my fingers crossed
    for more improvement.

I'll second that. I have been hearing about the Book of Priestcraft and
Dragon 241, etc. Here in Saskatoon, Sask. Dragon 240 and the Sept/Oct
    Dungeon haven't even arrived yet.

Hey I am in Mobile Alabama and none of the 3 stores available to me are
currently carrying the book. I have asked but they said they had not
heard of it but would try to get it.

I haven't got it in Melbourne, Australia, yet, if that's any comfort

I bought the BoP on the 12th in Champaign, Ill. Seems they might be trying
to change Birthright to Priests and Paupers. But there is a lot of groovy
stuff in it. Just be patient. You probably have it as i write this.

    Same here. :P

I'm especially annoyed about the Dragon issue, 'cause I want to see that
timeline. The BoP will have to wait until I'm richer. :)

Hey, thanks! Both for the compliments and for the info on where you got it.
That's our first report of a non-US shipment (well, mine, anyway). I can
    rest easier, now ...
