That is an easy one. Its obvious that at one time Giants and/or Titans
ruled Cerilia(KotG), but do not anymore. The most prominent reason for
their loss of power probably had to do with good old Mother Nature. The
world probably had some form of gigantic ecology(giant plants, and
animals)that could support a race, or two, of enormous creatures, but as
the climate of the world changed many of these species died out. Without an
ample food supply Giants, Dragons, and any other intelligent giant-sized
races probably began fighting over what resources remained, and while the
change in climate was destructive to them, it was ideal for the diminutive
humanoid races. These smaller races had a population explosion, and they
could no longer rely on their small numbers to keep them from being noticed
by the "giants" as a possible food source. So they did what any
self-preserving sentient would do, they attacked the warring factions of
giant creatures. The climate continued to change and the wars took their
toll, so in time all that remained were remnants of the giant populations.
The ecology of the world is now vastly different from what it was like in
the past, and could not support more then a few Giants, or Dragons at one
time. Any more and they would starve themselves into extinction. A
particularly strong member of either species could rise up and try to seize
control of the world(or part of it), but they know from the past that the
"little people" would band together and work to destroy them. So they try
to stay out of their business and wait for the day the world will turn
again, and their time will return. Sorry for the long-winded,
pseudoscientific reply, I just wanted to throw in my 2GBs. Thanks for
listening.

their is a mysterious source holder in Drachenward, who calls
him(it)self the Dragon, strong rumors go around that it truly is one
of the few dragons left, who gained bloodpower. And the rest?? well i
think every DM can come up with something devious. :)
