I have an idea which you can use if you like it:

Give the character some kind of "alignment points", each time using the Azrai
bloodpowers or doing something evil the character looses points and only for
good actions the character gains a few points. The stronger the bloodability
is or the more good/evil the character does, the more points it will be. Let
say that good is 100 point, when the character would have something like 50
point he/she would be neutral and when it's down on 0 or lover the person is
evil. I would let a person who chooses to be neutral from the begining to have
all those 100 points and when the character has -25 points, there is no return
    to a none evil alignment.
The proble whit this would be that you and the player will have different
views what act is evil and not, and something which we today thinks is evil
wouldn't have been tought as evil in a midievel fantasy world. So what I'm
trying to say, do lable an act as evil, valuate if the effect of the act leads
to more evil and in what mood the character was when he/she did it.

    - -> Would the urges increase over time, particularly if the bloodline
    - ->strength grew? Does the character have to have the Bloodform ability in
    - ->order for the possibility of becoming Awnshegh occur?
The urges should become stronger with the number of new abilities, I wouldn't
say the number of BP would do that, but you could use the above system
suggestion and subtract the BP from the amount of "alignment points" the
    character has.
And yes it's possible to become Awnshegh (why must there be words you can't
pronounce in TSR stuff??) even if you don't
have bloodform, as it's more a cosmetic change than anything else, atleas in
    my opinion.

She probably has to be true neutral or Chaotic Neutral for it to work=
    . True
neutrality in the War on Evil is probably best for this type of game. Af=
    ter all,
she is trying to do good, but she is suseptable to evil (as a result of h=
    er
bloodline). Tell her that playing such a character would be quite a chal=
    lenge,
because true neutral is the hardest alignment to play (sorry all you CNs =
    out
    there!).

However, a special quest that will purify her bloodline should be availab=
    le; if
she wants to take it. This quest has to be holy and very challenging. M=
    aybe a
quest sponsored by Haelyn's Church. This should remove the taint of Azra=
    i's
    blood.

Another question: is there an Oriental culture in BR? You have a moorish=
    culture,
but what about an Oriental Culture on Aebyrneis (??).
