    To Mr. Stark:

You said that you reviewed all submitted matierial. Would this include any
stats and other material created from the information supplied in the
campaign expansions? For instance, any stats I made up for, say Kurt
    Warkinde?

    Thanx in advance:

Basically, if someone submits BR-related material to DUNGEON, DRAGON, or
POLYHEDRON, they will almost certainly run it across my desk (or my boss,
Harold Johnson's desk) to make sure everything's okay before they print it.
There may be occasions when this doesn't happen. Most often, it'll just be
up to me to check and see if everything's done right, BR-wise. While I
probably would advise them against publishing material that violated BR
canon in one of the magazines, I always have to remember that
magazine-related material isn't necessarily canon anyway. Unless we say it
    is ;-)

If you made up stats for Kurt Warkinde, I would probably see them before
they were published. Unless I'm misremembering, I came up with the basic
character (sans stats) anyway (he appears in HAVENS, doesn't he?) so I'd be
    more than a little interested.
Of course, it's early and it's Monday, so I could easily be misremembering ...

Oh, I didn't mean anything submitted to the magazines, though I can see where
that is helpful. I was saying that you took note of everything submitted to
this list. And you are not misremembering. You did put up the basic stats of
Warkinde. I was asking if it would be alright to put our stats created off of
those written in the material and send them to the list. (I guess that would
also be a monitor issue, wouldn't it?)

Ah, I understand now--once more for the really slow ;-). Yeah, I suppose
it's a monitor issue. As far as I'm concerned (and I think this is TSR's
policy) as long as you aren't reprinting large chunks of the book but,
instead, creating new stuff based on published material (which sounds like
what you're doing), there's no problem posting it to a list for free.

I, myself, would be interested in seeing Kurt Warkinde done up right.
