New BR Products
I guess I'll make this an "official" request for a new product.
I'd like to see the "world" of Birthright seperated from the new "rules" in
Birthright. Then I'd like to see the "rules" published as a AD&D rules add-on,
so those rules for ruling domains and holdings can be applied to Greyhawk or

New BR Products
I've read with interest other people's wishlists for BR products over the last
seems I'm on the same wavelength with a lot of you. Here's the "Top 10" list
products I'd like to see:
1. NPC Domain Plots and Strategies: I'm primarily interested in Anuirean
also like to see some adventure ideas within these realms. If this can't be
official product, how about a series of Dragon mag. articles or TSR website
2. Domain Turn/War Sourcebook: Expanded info. on running domains, new domain
actions, alternate/expanded battle rules, and new Realm spells.
3. Demihuman Sourcebook: Dwarves/Elves/Halflings in Cerilia
4. City of Anuire
5. Shadoworld: I disagree with DMs who don't want this detailed. If people
have their own version developed, by all means continue using it. Ed Stark
something about an adventure with a little source info. thrown in. I'd prefer
about 75% source material with an intermediate length adventure included.
6. Domain Compilation/Maps on CD: I'd like to see as much new info. as
just the old Player's Secret books. I'm particularly interested in Sielwode,
Dhoesone. I'd love to have editable maps on CD as part of this.
7. Campaign Expansion: I'd like to see a land to the west that could be opened
colonization. Aduria would also be nice.
8. Adventures: Short, long, or huge would all be great. How about a "Stop the
Invasion" epic in which the PCs have to: A- rally other domains (Could they all
trusted?) to provide troops, B- defeat the Gorgon's forces in a couple of key
C- journey to the heart of the Gorgon's Crown to somehow disrupt his plans?
9. Underworld/Goblins: With some Dark Elves thrown in for flavor
10. Combo Guildholders/Lawholders book: Do territorial rulers have to hold
Law? One concept I like is orders of knights that control Law holdings. This
would rank well below the other 9 for me, but I'd still like to see it.
If Ed Stark, Rich Baker, or any of the other members of the BR crew have made
far in my post, I'd just like to say thanks for the great work you've done so
far and please
keep it up.

This isn't hard to do, and I'm not sure I would want to shell out for it.
Dragon Magazine a while back offered a good explanation of Regency etc. in
the Al Qadim setting and it can work in any other.
Some magical items and types of items have to be eliminated or have other
backgrounds devised, and you need to give some thought to the impact of
population levels (i.e. are there alot more level 10 holdings around and
what does this mean in the game) and how different government structures cope.
This may entail a few alterations here and there (for example elves in my
world practice Athenian democracy and I permit a Contest for Rule through
peaceable means as a result).

Leaving the Shadow World vague seems just fine to me. It keeps it
But what about a little adventure, with a little source material mixed in?
lots of adventures in the shadow world with lots of undead, pleeeaaasee....
They are by far my favourite enemies (and henchmen ;-)
The whole concept of a shadow world of cerilia screams screams for
a thorough explanation. (Can i have a domain there? ;-)
