I like it. I'm glad they used the memory and power requirements of the
program to benifit the AI instead of the graphics. The graphics are nice,
but they are obviously not the games strongpoint. The better AI makes this a
tough game, and they seem to have represented the feel and the context of a
BR AD&D campaign very well(especially if you download the Character Editor).
Again...for the most part I really like it.
The complaint I have, and in a way the graphics affect it, is the
Adventures. So far they are fairly average, and have a tendency to get
monotonous. I think the first thing they should work on is an add-on that
gives them a little more spice. Anyways thats my impression so far. In a
month or two(after I play it too death)I'll let you know my full opinion.

I havn't really played the Adventures much yet. I played the first 2 and
got a nice coffer thingy that is very useful now as I control about 1/3
of Anuire and it generates about 1000GB every turn because my treasury
is so high.
I do have one complaint though, the game doesn't seem to let you have
more than 4999GB and if you go over your treasury is broken into and
1000GB stolen or so other nasty event.
Also the Gorgon seems to be able to create vast numbers of skeletons,
while Caine can only create 1 unit every spell.
Apart from that it is quite nice.

If you think thats bad wait until the Sword and Crown is held in your
domain and it costs you 3000 GB's,
One more complaint however is that it is possible to fail 100% success
role on trade routes and holdings. I guess there are no sure things in
life.

I have had that several time, only it seemed to cost me 4000GB, which is
a bit much i would think. 8 million gp's worth meeting.

I havn't had it fail at 100% yet. Though I was spending most of the time
attacking other realms so haven't had much of a chance to do trade route
etc yet.
I have finished that game on easy level to (reached 300 realm strenght).
There seems to be 3 ways to get the 300 pts. 1 is to conquer everything
you can, which is what I did. 2) be friendly with everyone and form lots
of allainces because you get points for them too. 3) go on lots of
adventures and recover the artifacts.
Has anyone done that adventure in this tower where you encounter the
gorgon yet (level 2 adventure). I was wandering through the caves when I
suddenly came across the Gorgon wandering around in a room. First I
though, hmmm this must be an illusion. That was until all my characters
got stoned by his gaze, rather nasty that was. If anyone has done that
adventure, can you tell me where to find the hammer?
