    IMPORTANT!!!

    To mailinglist members:

Some one of you (or maybe more) has(have) contracted the MyDoom virus.
Please inspect your system and update your virusscanner.

This is not the only email i received today. It is that the mailinglist import script is dissabled since yesterday, but in the Brnetboard email box there were over 15 MyDoom infected emails today only.

    thnx

That`s weird since it doesn`t look like any have been distributed through

the Wizards` listserver. At least, I haven`t gotten any. Anyone else

    experiencing any problems with this?

The mail import script makes use of an pop3 email box, so simplified: all mail send to that email addy will be imported to the forum.

and when mailinglist members receive the posts made by the forum, they are send with this email address as the sender.

So outlook users will have this email addres in their address book if they have replied on an email.

Since nobody else has the email addres besides the mailinglist members it must be someone on the list.

this person is also member of the Mystara-L mailinglist. since i am getting random generated email addresses from that as well.

the thread should be over now, SCO was teken down today...
the mail import works fluently now, and is importing the emails dend to the mailinglist every ten minutes instead of being triggert by form users.

the next thing i will do is to automate the enworld news so that the load times will be reduced as well
