I've been thinking about starting an online Birthright campaign that focuses on the Tael Firth. A number of Anuirean and Rjurik realms would be in play.

The PC land list would read like this:
    Siren's Realm
    Halskapa
    Svinik
    Rjuvik
    Stjordvik
    Dhoesone
    Tuarhievel
    Cariele
    Thurazor
    Talinie

They are surrounded by the following NPC realms, which may or may not take an interest in the PCs' actions:

    Jankaping
    Hogunmark
    Realm of the White Witch
    Blood Skull Barony
    Giantdowns
    Gorgon's Crown
    Markazor
    Mhoried
    Five Peaks
    Boeruine

Yes, although Jankaping and Hogunmark make good PC realms, the rest are classically very large and/or evil places, and thus NPC.

Some domains, such as Stjordvik Traders and the Oaken Grove of Erik become very prominent. I'd also include the jarls as possible PCs.

Thought on how to pull this off? What would one need in terms of web presence to do this?

    Thanks,
    John Baker

Welcome to the Taelshore. My own table-top campaign has centerned on this

    same region.

This is the same list of realms I have used. Some of them have been

detailed on my own website http://home.mchsi.com/~kgauck/taelshore/index.htm

As you can probabaly tell, we started off and have remained based in

    Stjordvik.

I`m currently working on Dhoesone, playing catch up, somewhat as we`ve just

come and gone, and I`m as much recording who we met and what they were like

as much as I am planning ahead and preparing. I like to explore the local

politics, so every lord, guild official, templar, or wizard is potentially

detailed. My format is a kind of hybrid between standard 3e and the old PS.

Feel free to look it over and borrow liberally.

Most PBeMs have a webpage where the DM has links to all the domain rules, holdings available, maps, etc.

They also have another website for player forums, where players can post in character and OOC. These usually contain a senate of some type for official business, an informal setting such as an inn for informal in character play, plus boards for OOC queries and comments.

Hmm, Arjan, you seem to have been a bit too successful at removing the

html markup in quoted posts. :) We`ve received a few over the last

couple of days that contain nothing at all, like this latest one by

Kalien, but when I checked the board it definitely contains text.

I think I speak for most of the members of the discussion list when I say

that we appreciate all the work you`re doing, Arjan. Thanks.
