I'm trying to find this version of Seneschal. I have version 1.0 but I would like to try the update. If anyone has a copy or can point me in the direction of one on line, It would be greatly apprecaited. I would settle for talking to the developer, even.

    Thanks for the help.

Sorry, no idea what you mean. Could you please specify it?
my purpose is now to lead you into the Pallace where you shall have a clear and delightful view of all those various objects, and scattered excellencies, that lye up and down upon the face of creation, which are only seen by those that go down into the Seas, and by no other....

To the best of my knowledge, Seneschal v2.0 was never completed. The author's webpage (when it last existed) only had screenshots of the new version.

I would be interested in a copy though, as I never saved the file on my system, also if you have a copy of any of the other work by Seneschal's author, say the adventure he was working on, or the sourcebook to Albiele Island, I'm also after copies of those files.
    Let me claim your Birthright!!

The website used to be: http://www.uq.net.au/~zzphodge/
And the writer of the program was Peter "Dragon" Hodge.

    I ran it through archive.org
    http://web.archive.org/web/*/http://www.uq...et.au/~zzphodge

    http://web.archive.org/web/*/http://www.uq...odge/dragon.htm

I clicked one of the archives it back up... and then albiele island
    -----------snip---------------
    albiele island

Here`s where you can grab the Abliele Island file. If you play
Birthright (or D&D in general, for that matter), please download one of
the two files below, read through the document, and please let me know
what I can do to make Albiele Island all the more realistic.

Before you download (or while you are downloading) the file, please read
    through the notes below:

first and foremost, I just want to point out that this document is in no
way anything official, or sanctioned by TSR in anyway shape or form
(although, anyone from TSR that happens to wander by here, I would
certainly consider it a huge favour if you would take a look the
document and let me know what you think)
there are a number of references throughout the document to the Clans of
the Southern Seas. This is an "accessory" I am writing for the
Birthright world. When it`s done, I`ll be putting on this website, if
you`re curious to have a look at it. Again the Clans of the Southern
Seas is something I`m doing under my own steam and is no way
supported/sanctioned/etc by TSR. Anyway that`s a while off.
There are two maps which go with the document, one of Albiele Island
itself, and another of a place called Albiele Town, an important site on
the island. I have not uploaded these two maps, becuase, unfortunately I
do not access to a scanner. In any case, the maps aren`t necessary to
follow the information in the document (you`ll just have to use your
imagination!). However, I am endeavouring to get these maps on-line in
    the very near future.
If you don`t know the Birthright world very well, go and get the boxed
set (assuming you play D&D, of course). It is an awesome world! If you
don`t want to do that, here`s a little info:
Albiele Island is an island off the southern coast of a large continent
called Cerilia. The island sits in the middle of body of water called
the Straits of Aerele, which connects two of the continent`s major
oceans. Consequently, a huge amount of trade passes through the Straits.
In the Birthright Campaign boxed set, Albiele Island is very briefly
described by Rich Baker and Colin McComb (the two fine folk who authored
the Birthright boxed set) as, and I quote, "a smuggler`s haven, where
ne`er-do-wells and outlaws can hide and where pirates can come to port
after preying on the merchant ships that ply the Straits". One of my
player`s (whose character is the regent of Roesone, a nearby kingdom)
has decided to add Albiele Island to his realm and so I wrote the
document you are about to download to describe the island and to
facilitate numerous adventurers on the island.

There are two seperate versions of the document available (both are
zipped up). If you have Word 97 (or anyway to view Word 97 documents),
download the first version. The document was written in Word 97, and the
first version presents the information as it was intended to be. The
second version is an rtf or "Rich Text Format" file, which any
reasonably modern word processor should be able to open. If you have any
problems opening the file, contact me and I will endeavour to save the
document in a format you can open.
There is also a font included with each of the dowloads that you will
need to view the document in all its glory :). It is called "Bard" (the
file name is bardn.ttf). Just install this font (Control Panel - Fonts -
File Menu - Install New Font) after you have unzipped the downloaded
    file.
And lastly, I hope you enjoy reading what I`ve written! Please feel free
to use any of the information contained in the document in your own
campaings. However, if you are going to post any of the information to
somewhere else on the Internet or other such public places, please ask
my permission (I can`t think of any reason why I would say no, I just
want to know where it`s going). And please, please let me know what you
thought of Albiele Island, how you think it could improved (more NPCs,
less buildings, more history, whatever, anything). My only request is
that such advise be constructive (if you thought it stunk, please let me
know, but give me reasons for your dislike).
My e-mail address is dragon@uq.net.au - please tell me what you thought
of Albiele Island (even a "its good" or "it sucks" will do).

    Thanks alot,

    Peter "Dragon" Hodge
    ---------------------------------------

Unfortunately I cannot download the source books itself anymore...

it to you if you want to make it available for upload. Funny, I think I

Ajran I was wondering if you wanted the Albiele Island word document by
Peter Hodge 1998 ©. I wasn`t sure if that was what you meant by your last
email concerning this subject with the links to his old website.
