You mean like a permanency that would make realm spells permanent? No
    way, no how.

But that`s not real useful to you, so if I were to allow it, it would
have a rediculous cost in GBs, and would tie up the source used to power
the spell permanently. For instance, Ward has a source level requirement
of 5, right? All provinces in which it was permanent would have their
available sources reduced by 5, so the wizard would have his RP collection
reduced, and would be able to cast only lower source spells there.

My reasoning for this is that no one-time casting would be able to make
such a powerful spell permanent. It would require a continuous use of the
land`s power to keep it going.

The only time I ever allowed a spell to be permanent which was a Realm Spell
was when a player wanted to make his newly summoned fortification permanent
so that he wouldn`t have to cast it again. I told him if he would research
it as a new spell he could cast it with sacrifices made. So after he
researched the new version of the spell and cast it, his source level was
reduced in equal proportion to the level required to cast the spell and then
had to be ruled back up again.....the new version of the spell also cost
twice as much regency and gold to cast as well.

Would you people allow your players to cast realm version of Permanency? If
yes, what would this spell look like(level, cost, etc)?

    Actually, I do allow it.
In addition to the normal costs of the spell, the source required to
power the spell (including the ley line if one is used) is now
permanently powering the spell and may not be used for anything else (no
ley lines, no RP, etc) and the sacrifice of the caster.
Given that if the source is found and directly attacked (reducing the
source to less than the requirement for the spell), the spell will fall
over anyway, the cost will often exceed the value of the spell.

IMC, Cwym Bhien had a permanent warding on it, broken initially by the
raven, and then replaced "with the sacrifice of an Elf`s soul".
