    If a player can change the regent from the one listed in the book some far
    fetched off the wall concept.

    Also another big one is they don`t believe the current regent has a good
    enough bloodline and want to change the bloodline to a better strength.

    Who are you to speak to me of loneliness, you who have not suffered as I have suffered. My father was lord of the Andu, ruler of a million souls, but not once did he ever claim me as his son. All those years I waited for a single word from him, a simple acknowledgment of my birthright. But, not even on his death bed did he claim me as his. So do not speak to me of your loneliness, you who have never been as alone as I have been all my life.

    Common questions:

    * Can I be a half-dragon?
    * Can I be a dragon?
    * Can I have a dragon as my cohort?
    * Are we rolling attributes or using point-buy?
    * Can I be evil?
    * Do I have to be blooded?
    * Why can`t we just continue our last campaign?
    * Can I use the Epic Level Handbook?
    * Are we using the PHB Ranger or Monte Cook`s Ranger?
    * What do you mean I can`t use Energy Substitution from Tome & Blood?!
    * Well, then, can`t my gnome monk just come from somewhere else?
    * As part of my background I used my Travel ability to steal the treasury,
    ok?
    * Can I write all my own spell descriptions instead of using the PHB?
    * Can we use feats from the Forgotten Realms book?
    * My character won`t need to talk much, right?
    * Who`s got the Mountain Dew?

    Some questions that came to my mind:

    What character can I play?
    (e.g. only take over an existing character of an existing realm from
    Ruins of Empire, OR create ANY character who gets to
    control the the "Barony of Moor" which consists out of the four northern
    provinces of Alamie and is a totally new realm)

    The same bloodline as the regent in the Ruins (for history and tradition
    and familiar bloodlines among family) - or
    a customized bloodline which noone has in the entire region?

    Am I in control only of my character and only can give orders to my
    lieutenants, hirelings and perhaps family members - or do I as the
    player directly control all of them, so that I may be part of an
    adventure while my regent does a domain action sitting on his throne?
    bye

    You forgot Kender and Minotaurs! ;-)

    Or at least a pseudo-dragon with the Improved Familiar feat?

    What is the Mountain Dew?
