    Hey all,
Unfortunately one of my PC rolled a very high great azrai BLD with bloodform[great]

He is continually using his major BLD ability Charm Aura.
what physical changes would he go through? Any suggestion in what he might become?

    Great !

I don't know how did you do your computer "roll" a character for you, but here my suggestion based on one character I'm DMing presently.

He's an elf sorcerer in Talinie's Court. One day, he found a great magic weapon and took it without knowing it was corrupted by the Essence of the Evil God Azrai. His bloodline was entirely corrupted and he developped the Bloodform ability.

My guess was that the Bloodform ability is some reflection of the person he is. In his case, he calls himself the "Spider Mage" and he is very selfish, self-centered and he plots to divide the Human World for the benefit of the Sidhelien. As such, spiders begun coming to him in a small number then more and more were coming. His aura developped and evryone of Good alignment knows that something about him is untrustworthy and evil. His skin took a pale tint and his facial features are becoming more and more cadaveric. Someday, he will become some sort of fiend, losing all is elvennity.

    What do you think?

You know, it`s just too hard to come up with original stuff to just base off
a character`s personality and/or bloodpowers. My philosophy on this is just
pick something, anything, or have the player choose, and then as you are
playing you can create opportunities in your adventures to justify the
change based on moral decisions or physical encounters rather than simply on
    his bloodline powers.

So instead of becoming some charm-aura-related fiend ("The Barrister"), you
could decide the game will be more fun for all if he became "The Tree
Hippo", and you could just start making your next adventure or two with an
encounter bent toward justifying such a transformation.

Alternatively though, "The Barrister" sounds like a cool name for an
awnsheigh to me. And he`d be dressed in black, so there you go.

    ---

An awnsheigh with the power to take possession over someone`s mind/body
seems like it`d be appropriate for a charm-aura related blood-themed
transformation. Make him easy to dispel though for maximum roleplaying
opportunities, perhaps expelled by touch with a living creature, and perhaps
even make it difficult for him to return to his own body once dispelled. He
probably should not be able to take possession over anyone with a bloodline,
though. Whatever his vulnerability is regarding being dispelled should
probably be linked to some deformity of his regular body.

And of course, there`s also the stereotypical "can`t turn off the Charm
Aura" that you can feel free to play with. As a lighter transformation that
could still be hazardous, perhaps you could rule that anyone who fails their
Will save gets Charmed via the Charm Aura. Anyone who passes their save,
sees the scion in his true Demonic form.

You could even quite literally play with the "everyone *must* love me"
villain theme, and make him take damage when a non-scion regards is
"unfriendly" to him. (Or temporarily lose a hitpoint until that person is
out of range, unconscious, or *ahem* convined to be more amiable.)

I would peruse a monster manual looking for monsters with charm and charm-like abilities.([_]

    Example: Morkoth

"Frighteningly beautiful" is what comes to mind, but how to define that?
Perhaps the PC in question`s face and body change to become some version of
ideal beauty-- a wicked twist would be to become genderless in appearance
    (and function!?).

The Lamia and the Hag are two good examples of characters who charm
    people into servants...
In Dragon Magazine 240 was also a nice story "The Nymph" were some sages
stole Nypmhs hair and were punished by having to see the nymph in her
true form - they all were blinded or killed...

for an elven aweshegin you should look at ancient irish mythology, in it are a race of fairy folk or elves knowen as the sidhline(spelling might be off) but they are a race of incredible beauty and quite often incredible cruelty, i think cerilian elves are somewhat based on them but dont have the same mystical powers or appitite for cruelty and evil.

The Celtic Campaign Sourcebook is also a good reference, and useful for Rjurik concepts on bards and druids, oh yeah the "original" version of the special dooms is also there - called Character Gifts. I think the number was TSR 9376. Don't hold me the that number though.([_]
