All right the BRCS playtest version has been out for aver 2 weeks now. That should be enough time for people to at least get an idea of what they like and don't like, what they want to keep and what they want to change or get rid of.

There have been between 1000 and 2500 downloads, depending on how you count. There have been around a dozen or so people making comments on the platest discussion board. Of those there have only been a handful of people who have repeatedly posted. We've got to get a better idea of which way to proceed next, so please, please post your comments.

Typically only those who have complaints make posts, so if you like something and want to keep it the way it is please post so. If you like the concept of something, but would like to "tweak it a little" please post your suggestions. If you really hate something and want it gone post that too, also include any substitution method if there is something that should replace it.

Other than editorial errors, it is very hard to come up with a direction to proceed in without comments from more of the netforce. We, the BRCS "editors", can only work with what we are given to work with. We definitely are not opposed to changing "anything" that we have written so far, as long as it is something that a "majority" or something similar wish the product to "look like". ([_]

I`m really sorry you feel this way - I know myself and several others have
posted about a lot of things we liked about the conversion doc.

Overall I think the BRCS team has done a great job!

Shade, that wasn't meant to be a personal defense. I have no problems with changing anything. It was just an historical observation on life in general, which is a very true statement. Many of the comments have been very good and have had very well thought out and presented arguements (in the legal sense) for the alternatives presented.

There are still not enough people making comments of any sort to come close to representing "the whole". A dozen or even 20 is hard pressed to be used as a representative sample of 1000-2500.:)

But if you look at the number of active posters on the mailing
    list/br.net now you`ll see it is not more than 2x 20 I beleive :)
I f. inst. sure isn`t a regular poster even though I do post
    every now and then....
So I do not beleive we should be waiting for "everyone" to answer,
rather after a set amount of time (like a month or 2) say that
if noone else voices any opinions then it is agreed...
