This may be a stupid question... But what language is Karamhul based off of?

For instance, how would one say "Flametongue" in Karamhul?

Karamhul seems to be almost a copy of Tolkien's Dwarvish (compare Khazad-Dum and Kheled-Zaram with Baruk-Azhik, Kheleb-Izhil, etc). I have no idea about translations though.

Dragon mag, about 2 years ago, had a series of articles with some demihuman
languages and examples. I`ll check for flametongue.

Try mixing Nordic and Slavic languages. For example, DMs of Warlords of
Winter decided to translate Shield of Hope as Krushkhal. Of course, they
had no idea that "krushka" means pear in Serbian :-)

Errr, maybe I mispelled it, but it should be a fruit with
greenish-yellow skin and meat similar to apple. Actually, I considered
it opposite of apple when I was kid :-)

Talking of pears saddens me, for I have just finished my last bottle of double brewed pear mead and have to wait till next year to have more:-(
