Not Abraham. More like Hercules and Achilles, descendants of gods. Big,
bad, and semidivine. Hercules did ascend to Mount Olympus at his death,
taking a place in the constellations.

The awnsheghlien do kind of have divine assistance, in the form of Azrai`s
remnant, the Cold Rider. I think he`s getting them to do the grunt work
of gathering power up, so he can kill just a couple of major awnsheghlien
and get his power back, rather than having to hunt down every pissant
scion with a bloodline of Azrai, tainted, 3, to get his own back.

Does he really want them to become divine? I think it`s brinksmanship.
He knows how, and he has to grant them mostly accurate descriptions of the
process or else they`ll figure out he`s playing them. But he doesn`t want
them to ascend and surpass him, because then they might decide he looks
like a nummy snack. He`s very vulnerable right now.

Hehe. I laughed. Guess we`ll all burn in hell together; somebody
remember to bring some dice. :)
