I have a few questions:

Do temples and sources still earn RP or does mana replace them?

Mana is used to cast realm spells, correct?

Can mana be used for anything other than casting realm spells? Can it be
used to do any of the things RP do, or can it be used during magic item
creation in place of XP?

Can one get mana through vassalage agreements?

They continue earning RP. Mana is just another new currency, like a
"Magic Gold Bar" or something similar.

>Mana is used to cast realm spells, correct?

Yes. Mana is used for spells and their maintenance (you can summon magic
armies (undeads for example) and you maintain them with mana). It can also
be used when you use the build action to build something magical. I use it
also for building bretchur tower ships (and in general "magical" units or
things).

>Can it be used to do any of the things RP do,

No. RP are totally appart from mana. RP is used for all actions (Cast a
Realm Spell has now 1 RP cost, and the rest is mana. If expensive material
components are used, add also some GB).

>or can it be used during magic item creation in place of XP?

Havenīt thought that one. While a GB (a "realm level thing") has its
"character level thing" equivalent (2000 gp), mana doesnīt have it... MoM
and AoW 2 have several spells about crafting magic items, but that could
break balance in the game (and doesnīt help explaining the low numbers of
magic items on birthright)... Very interesting point, Iīll think further
about it.

>Can one get mana through vassalage agreements?

Yes, like you can get GB or RP. Although itīs useless for regents
without temples or sources. A multiclass regent (lets say, fighter/wizard),
could use mana without sources, but only for building things (not casting
realm spells without sources). A regent without magic abilities canīt even
store mana. Thanks a lot for the points (specially the magic items one ;)
