Right, but it`s the email address that`s registered, not any particular
name. So if the `from:` included `brnetboard@tuarhievel.org`, as its
address, the rest of the line is purely cosmetic, and theoretically you
could put any name in front of the email address (in braces) that you
desired. oracle.wizards.com should allow it. So you could have
`From: Geeman <brnetboard@TUARHIEVEL.ORG>`
`From: Lord Eldred <brnetboard@TUARHIEVEL.ORG>` and both would be posted
correctly.

I just realized that`s not rendering correctly on the board; in html, the
line would look like
`From: whoever <brnetboard@TUARHIEVEL.ORG>`. (less the quotemarks,
of course.)

It probably ends up on the forum :-)

But why would someone want to use e-mail to post on the forum without
posting to the list??

What he wanted to say is that brnetboard@tuarhievel.com could change the
displayed name every time a message is posted in the forum. For example,
your e-mail address shows Gary when you send to someone, and mine shows
Milos Rasic. In the similar manner, brnetboard@tuarhievel.com could be
made to show different name, depending on the poster whose message is
sent to the list.

This is an header test.
If the mailing List receives this with "arjan" as the sender of the email. the test worked.

<< About the quality of the msgs, pointed out by Gary that sometimes the
"yes me to" or the "in Character" msgs are somewhat annoying.
i have plans on re-organizing the Forum, there will be less boards, but more
structured.
i will make a "new" board for In Character talking, and will exclude the
posts from being send to the Mailinglist.
that will increase the quality i hope.
>>

Hurrah! Excellent plan. :)
