Hey folks,

The Wizards` Lists subscription page has been down for quite a while now,
but the archives are still available. Since the subscription page is the
portal to the archives, however, you have to use the URL to get at
them. For us, that`s

http://oracle.wizards.com/archives/birthright-l.html

You can also reach the archives for other lists by replacing "birthright-l"
with the name of the list you want to reach in the above url.

I noted this a while back, but until the subscription page comes back up
anyone who changes email addresses and wants to stay on the list, or has
some other trouble with their subscription options should email me directly
(geeman@softhome.net will probably get to me sooner than
geeman2000@earthlink.net) and I`ll set you up.

If you`re going to be away from you computer for a while and don`t want to
receive messages from the list don`t unsubscribe. You`re best off sending
the command SET BIRTHRIGHT-L NOMAIL to LISTSERV@ORACLE.WIZARDS.COM and that
will disable posts to your address until you send the command SET
BIRTHRIGHT-L NOMAIL to the same email address. If you have any trouble
doing that just email me directly and I`ll set it up.

As long as I`m having conversations with myself in which I correct my
errors recently....

The second command above should be MAIL not NOMAIL.

SET BIRTHRIGHT-L NOMAIL to turn off email to your address.
SET BIRTHRIGHT-L MAIL to turn them back on.

Oh, and it should read "your computer" not "you computer" in the first
sentence....

Gary, we of the group, ... well, ... we`re beinning to worry. Are you
sleeping well ? Perhaps a short break - a weekend away - might help -
somewhere restful - tranquil surrounds - lots of white coats (to remind
you of angels and heaven you know) - some serious drugs - before you
know it you`ll be having real conversations again - with real people -
wouldn`t that be nice ?

Real people suck. I prefer the creations of literature, talking to the
dead (as in history...) or the musing of disembodied posters on electronic
mailing lists.... ;-}
