I'm assuming that Anuirean baronets are not simply hereditary knights then, which I think fits better with their knightly and ancestor-based culture. After all, isn't the original idea that they are little barons or banner-carriers?

Are you thinking of a Knight banneret? A baronet is a noble title that is higher than all knighthoods, except some royal orders of knighthood which were more about royal honors than actually being an armored man on horse (Order of the Golden Fleece, &c). Its a hereditary title, its issued by a patent, not by a dubbing.

I really liked the tidbit about baronets being appointed by the sovereign, rather than the local lord. Goes well with the description text for baron as well. Good work.
Will the title wiki-page be updated to link to more titles (marquis etc.)?
