Not any more than we do alternate gender versions of other NPCs...
Hmm, the Gorgon is a female name really - the girly gorgon? Come to that, what would a male version of the lamia be called? The mind boggles...:)

The Lamior, Lamion, Lamiator, Lamadron?

I thought of that one too. It does suggest a unique blood power however - the ability to entangle people with sheets of hot, sticky plastic!

Those names are too complicated. I would just go with Bruce.

Well, who said you can't be silly on these boards?
The Jackhammer -- an Awnshegh that has an unique blood ability to hit you with a flurry of blows. A VERY FAST flurry of blows.

For added effect, the Jackhammer would also have a concurrent thundering power when using the flurry of hammers :P

How about we make it a little more "medieval".
Jacques "the Hammer" Marteaux
Male Brecht Awnshegh

Rather than spoil everyone's fun, I've now split off the wildly off-topic posts into their own thread.
Jacques "the Hammer"? I suppose that when he was younger and not an awnshegh, he was known as Jacques "the Lad"?

As long he doesn't have high dexterity and dance around his opponents in wierd fashion, then stop and say "It's Hammer time" before taking the offensive.
The Hammer as an ex-Bard. Interesting but scary.

We just made up a new Awnie.

He has to wear pants that are five times as wide as legs and keep saying "you can't touch this!" without defining what this is.
And seeing that MC is now a preacher, perhaps our awnie should be an ex-bard who is now a priest of Belinik. Or is he too rythmic for Belinik?
Sorontar.

Too much rhythm for Belinik. Try Eloele.

Fear and terror! I have no idea what's so terrifying about wearing massively-oversized trousers, but I could definitely imagine an awnshegh Bard/Cleric of Belinik as being intimidating!

Jacques "the Hammer" needs to have a posse that follows him around and tells him right before he gets into combat "Hammer don't hurt em."
Anyway in a light campaign this would be an awesome foe. I am sure it would get some good laughs.
