I am playing in a soon to go epic campaign set 1000 yrs after a 2nd diesmar. My character is a reincarnated Haelyn sent back by Anduras. Anybody have stats on Haelyns Items for me to propose to my gm?

Not at all. It is a great campagn that has been played generationally over the last 7 or so years. My original character was directed by Haelyn & the other gods of justice to bring back the old gods. About a thousand years later the world has fallen into a dark age and Anduras has sent back his greatest champion...or thats what I've been able to put together so far.

I'd look at the write-ups for similar types of gods (Hieronious being an obvious example) and make translations as required.

Thanks for the thought. My only concern was that all Paladin gods seen to have the same things, and BR is so unique in its approach to magic. My other concern is diferentiating the god from his mortal life. I will definitely take a look a the others though, thanks.

Haelyn's pretty strait forward in that respect: kingship, law, chivalry. I don't see him breaking much new ground in his gear.

Yeah, thats true. Sword, armour, barding(for the mount); however what thoughts do you have on this scepter he wields in his off hand?

The sword in one hand, scepter in another is generally a symbol of the two arms of the state, protection and justice. So as Haelyn protects with the sword, he provides justice with the scepter. As such it might be able to invest a ruler with divine effectiveness, invoke the realm spell Honest Dealings at a command, as well as cast all of the Law Domain spells as desired by the wielder without tying up the wielder's actions.

Great insight, I knew there was a reason that I posted here!

In the variant BR Ruins of Empire Pbem, Haelyn is also sometimes portrayed as a lion, sometimes as a dragon.
The lion is for classical reasons - nobility and strength, whereas the dragon is more mysterious . power and knowledge perhaps. There are many possibilities of how to use this - from shapeshifting abilities to a special connection to these beings. Signature powers etc. etc. Not that RoE Cerilia is big on dragons though...
