... you notice the car in front has the license plate BRNET5 and your thoughts immediately are "Wow! It's a gamer! I wonder what their username is on Birthright.net?"

Only then do you notice the writing on their rear window which says "Burnett Motor Body Works" :^(

I spent the better part of a six hours of driving for work thinking about how I can have The Magian and The Serpent screw with the ruler of Khourane (and others.)

Good Stuff

You have a six hour drive to work?! Man, and I thought I had it rough.

So what is it, London or L.A.?

When you interpret all RL political backstabbing, movie plots, friends practicising Kendo and musical scores in terms of Birthright and how you can steal the concepts for your game and work them into a plot.
When you wake up at 3am and decide to do some mental game prep and then start dreaming BR when you fall back asleep.

When your suspension of disbelief allows you to believe that the Gorgon has come by for brunch.....

I am a sales rep. Sometimes it takes me 3 hours just to get to my first account of the day. Plenty -O- time to kill then. :D

When you see similarities between "emotional bank account" and "regency" and think that you can spend RP to influence your spouse.

When you look at a newspaper picture of Dede, the "Tree Man", and you immediately wonder if he is a Level 1 (or 2) Awnshegh or Ehrshegh?

...you find that everytime you start a game session you are annoyed by your friends lack of interest in BR.

-I haven't played BR in well over a year now...:(

Heya, Thel. :P Anyway, back on topic.

You know you've been thining about BR too much when the first day you learn about it, you spend 6 hours reading and re-reading the rules, then 2 hours in bed thinking of various trade agreements/diplomatic stances, etc. And finally you fall asleep, dreaming of playing it.
