Has anyone ever seen a piece of source material that names Aeric Boeruine a follower of the Stormlord, (Cuiraecen)? I can't find anything that states he is but am playing in a game who someone who is most insistant about it.

While the state religion of Boeruine is Haelyn, Cuiraecen is also worshipped there, so it's entirely possible. That's as much as I can say.

I don't know Beoruine seems to deliberate to really be a follower of the stormlord. Since the Anuireans are polytheistic he likely pays the Stormlord at least some homage, but it would seem to me that with his L.N. alignment Haelyn is where his worship bread is buttered.

It would be foolish for Aeric to exclusively favor the one or the other. The faiths of Haelyn and Cuiraecen are friendly and cooperative. He certainly favors each in their own sphere.

He can have personal religious beliefs that are not governed by the "state" religion. He is LN, so if I were to assign him a personal "god" to follow, it'd be Haelyn.

It all depends on how tightly you want to follow that rule, or if you really want your player to be happy.

Consult the Book of Priestcraft if you have it. Maybe there's something in there about it.

Alignment is only one thing that aligns a worshiper to a god. The fact that Aeric is a regent who resorts to battle so often is just as much an issue as alignment. Of course Haelyn is the god of war, so his warlike temper doesn't suggest Cuiraecen any more than it says Haelyn. But where Darien Avan is obviously a devotee of Haelyn, a legitimate argument could be made for Aeric Boeruine and Cuiraecen. Even so, both have their appeal, so I don't think he's exclusive for one or the other.
