I have written up a potential history of Kvigmar that is meant to be closely intertwined with the fate of Danigau. I assumed (much like the author of this text) that the Brechts were the first humans in Kvigmar as well as Danigau, and that it originally fell under the banner of the House Danig. However, I've extended the history outwards, making Kvigmar first a integral (and prosperous) part of Danigau, then a Rjurik-populated, psuedo-colony. I'd like to hear peoples' thoughts on this and maybe how it can be integrated into the history of Danigau.

In particular, I think that what allowed for Rjurik replacement of the Brechts was Brecht deforestation of the Kvigmar Valley, followed by erosion. The Rjurik farming was better suited to the poor soil (from experience farming the Taelshore? Maybe the wisdom of the god Erik) and they slowly migrated south from modern Hjorval to fill the emptying countryside.
