I have greatly enjoyed reading the many discussions of Elves and after reviewing the Taurhievel domain book, wherein the Regent can summon close to 20 units of elves plus the powerful magic of the realm, I was wondering why the elves haven't taken back their old land and if they tried how would they govern the humans and goblins they conquered? I estimate the elves could easily conquer Dhosoene and from there only the Gorgon could stop them. For an NPC realm the GM can say they simple choose not to invade their neighbors but what limits the PC regent of Baruk-Azik from conquering the Chimearon? It was easy to do in the Computer game.

Does anyone have special rules for multi-racial kingdoms and most importantly one race conquering another? How would Dwarves rule the elves or humans or Goblins? If a race wouldn't conquerer another but destroy them instead what special rules would you use for genocide or reducing a province 6 population to 0, that's alot of levies? Should the defenders get a combat or morale bonus?

If the elves were to renew their war with the humans, yes they would have easy early successes. However eventually the humans would pull together enough force to at least bring it to a war of attrition, which the elves CANNOT win.Overall a renewed offensive would cause more damage to the elves then they would gain.

As to your actual question,LOTS of diplomacy!!!!:)

Ours is a multi-racial kingdom with multi-racial rulership. Two half-elves sit on council and there is a dwarven advisor that could become a council member if she can persuade her father to have Baruk Azik join the United Provinces. Diplomacy and tolerance is the answer.

Well said Lord Eldred. Our country is a model for all others. A shining beacon of hope in a land fraught with hatred and intolerance.
