i have renewed the VB license and looked for some kind of spam control.

i did find something where posts with certain keywords posted by members with less then 10 posts will be automaticaly put on moderated.

i have tested it on a hidden forum and it does work.
i will now try to incorporate it with the mailinglist connection, but i am probably gonna have to rewrite it again.

so please bare with this at the moment, i will be sending test spam to the list a couple of times in order to get this to work

to my surprise its working right away!!!

BUT this does not mean its monkey proof.
the filters works according a list of keywords.
i will go over the last couple of spams that have been posted on the forum/list to extend it with some comon keywords.

hope this will satisfy everyone for a while now.

cheers

Thank you so much for your efforts!

I know I sound like a belly aching whiny baby...but my
wife and I have a strict no pornographic material rule
in our house because of our children. I don`t want my
sons to see any of this garbage...

So it is a parents concern really...I can stomach it
all day long...just don`t want my kids to see it ya
know?

See, now that`s why I don`t get married.... No porn and a rugrat
infestation. A double whammy.

Anyway, once again Arjan steps up. Kudos to The Man.
