site isnt sending emails to new registering members!

Have had 2 potential players complain to me about this over the past 3 days. Might want to check it out!

I had this problem when i registered as well. i had to reset my password for it to send me an email so that i could actually log in.

well i have been monitoring it for a while now, but there isnt anything i can do.
the emails ARE send, tried it myself several times and loads of other people do get their activation email.

there could be several thing why it doesnt arrive:

users dont give up a valid email addy
they dont check their SPAM box if it somehow ended in there
their mailserver filters it out

these are things beyond my control.

seccondly, i get people using the contact form that they have registered.
get lots of spam through that as well scammers that try me to trick to enable their accound so they can post spam remotely using fake adresses, so i always send back an email asking them to the the things above and if they still got the problem to email me back.
19/20 never reply again.....

Having just registered, I can confirm that GMail interpreted the registration email as spam. Oddly, it hasn't done so with other fora I've signed up to. :P
