Thanks for the link. By us, I understand that you mean your gaming group, not the BR.net community.

Pity the author didn't realise that Birthright has a bigger base and more longevity and system flexibility than even what he describes, especially since br.net has copyright permissions that no other Birthright group has.

I forgive him for mispelling Anuire.

I think you are correct on that, that the author has no knowledge on the impact that BR net had on the community of the setting nor its vital role the people of BR net had. I will make sure I give him a 'heads up' about it.
