I finally finish compiling the data from all the books of the second editions.

Here are some stats that are interesting.

There is 938 provinces including all the none ruled islands

Total Level of all the provinces : 2075
Total Level of all provinces : 3626

Number of law holding in all the provinces : 1491 (72%)
Number of Temple holding in all the provinces : 1302 (63%)
Number of Guild holding in all the provinces : 1341 (65%)
Number of Source holding in all the provinces : 1918 (53%)

There are 357 different domains.
There is 404 regents (this is without the lieutenent)

Ithough to share that with you

Thanks for these.

So the greatest power is with the True Mages! And least power goes to the clerics.

So there are more regents than there are domains? How does that work? What have you defined as domains?

Interesting stats :D Do you have all data in a DB or Excel or did you do it by hand?

some people call me crazy, but doing it by hand, i'm not crazy enough :D

Database, it is a mySQL.
The same one we discuss in the past together if you remeber.

I am debugging my program now, it is going well

Ah yes. But there are no formal rules on how the Council of Leaders, the three Brothers Mages, the Red Kings, the College of Magic's Council of Ten actually are blooded and whether any of them can independently use blood abilities without the consent of the rest of the parties. I guess that is a possible debate elsewhere (if someone wants to enlighten us all) but I suspect they all have individual provinces/holdings (ie. a domain) and have allegiance oaths to a commonwealth of provinces/holdings (unlike places like Hogunmark who has provincial jarls who are subserviant to the regent).

You are absolutly right, it is hard to decide if the can have Rency points and how they would use them.
I mainly showed what was written in the second edition. On my part, all those domains cannot be played by PC, it would complicate thing way too much to have fun.
I think it only show certain domains have great difficulty of deciding.

Anyway, with the number of domain there is, I don't think it woud be difficult to keep them NPC and have all the other regular to players.
There is a lot of them out there :)

True that :) Good luck with it, but inputting all Cerilian data is already an impressive achievement (I input all the data from Anuire and I wanted to kill myself after that :p).

Nice work, I'm curious, do you have the number of regents for each holding type? I'm wondering if in particular source holdings as we've often talked about the number of mages in Cerilia.

Just to clarify, the stats I showed were LEVELS

The folowing stats are the numbers including level 0's

Of course even easy (for once)
Law 188 different regents on 815 different Law holdings
Temple 97 on 681
Guild 137 on 672
Source 87 605

And by mages you also include the obscure ones ....

Thanks, I'd been wondering about average domain size and the figures provided are quite handy. I'm currently playing with a continent I starting building a few years ago and waned to try and make some domains about the same size as "normal".

With the database, everything becomes easy
Average of province level : 2.21
Average of source level 3.87

This includes all the 0's

Average holdings level not in source 1.89
Average Holdings level for Source 3.17

When i finish the regent, the same thing will be available
