Does anyone know if TSR ever published any additional birthright things in there magazines I've seen a few sites hinting that they did I think I can lay my hands on one adventure from Dungeon 59 I found but I'm figuring if they released a new product line they musta put something in thier magazines (perhaps someone with the dragon magazine archive could find out?) if they did I'm having a hard time figuring out which issues they put them in so I can get a hold of them or find a copy of the archive for sale either is good for me *chuckle*.

Dragon Magazine Articles listed in the credits to the BRCS are located in issues 218, 219, 221, 230, 232, 236, 241, 248, and 249.

Not listed was an article (the only one I have) in Dragon 220 which talks about politics in Anuire.

Dungeon only had the one adventure, "Seeking Bloodsilver." My short scan
of the archive CD shows BR articles in issues 218, 221, 230, 232, 233, 236,
240, 241, 247, and 248. I think a list of titles, probably a more thorough
one, was in the rear of the BRCS download.

According to http://www.aeolia.net/dragondex/characters.html, there is a BR character Vlad Taltos in "Hired Killerz" by Ed Stark in Dragon 220 (24). That is *not* the same article that Bearcat mentioned.

Facinating all the better it looks like theres a whole stash of info out there we didn't know about, I'm just wondering how to get a hold of it all looks like i'll have to camp ebay and wait for the mags to come up but its not terribly efficient wish Piazo would publish the back magazines of dragon and dungeon as pdfs like they are doing the new ones. *sigh*

At least the Dragon Magazines 1 to 250 have been released on CD-ROM in
PDF format, so you need not search for every single magazine on ebay but
only the one CD-ROM.

on Further research I found a site that claims theres a few more birthright articles

Cry Havok in Dragon annual 2 (converting war cards into battlesytem rules)
Heroes of Cerilia dragon magazine #247

it seems there will probably be more if we could track them down. :)

I have the archives and am currently copying all the Birthright articles from the dragon magazines into a word document. They archives don't include the anuals I don't think, nor do I have the dungeon adventure, but all else I have. As well, there were a couple of very good articles in the 217-220 range of dragon, "going to court" "boons and favors" and a couple other that really apply to Birthright.

Is it legal to share these articles on here or with members since the open source thing has been released?

Now that I'm at my own computer here is the complete list as far as all my fairly thorough examination of the Dragon archives from the CD (issue 1-250)

Dragon #218-Tarazin the Gray (wandering dragon orginally from Brechtur)
Dragon #219-Birthright art and poster insert
Dragon #219-What’s a Wizard to Do? (wizard character advice)
Dragon #220-Politics of Empire (how each of the areas of Anuire deal with politics)
Dragon #220-Hired Killerz
Dragon #221-Magic of Kings, Magic of the Land (spells)
Dragon #221-Ley of the Land (how to do ley lines, not needed if you have BoMagecraft)
Dragon #230-Fire on the Five Peaks (a dragon in the five peaks)
Dragon #230-Rogue’s Gallery (Rjurik NPCs)
Dragon #232-Weapons of the Waves (warfare on the seas adds to Seas of Cerilia/Khinasi)
Dragon #233-Scions of the Desert (Birthright meets Zakarra)
Dragon #233-The Rod of Seven Parts, World by World (ie the Rod in Birthright)
Dragon #236-The Ruin of Adlersburg (ruined fortification in Wierech, Brechtur)
Dragon #240-Ella’s Quickfingers (ie Players Secrets of Ella's church in Muden)
Dragon #241-Chronicle of Cerilia (history timeline)
Dragon #245-Tomes of Gideon (in the magic items section (arcane lore?))
Dragon #247-Heroes of Cerilia (Birthright skills and powers)
Dragon #248-Dragon of Vstaive Peak (dragon in Vos)
Dragon #249-Birthright related cover art (fantastic artwork of Michael Roele grounding his bloodline into the ground just before the Gorgon slays him)
Dragon #315-Bloodlines for D&D 3.5 (not sure about this don't have it)
Dragon Annual 1-Guilds of Cerilia (not sure don't have it)
Dragon Annual 2-Cry Havoc (think its converting war cards to battlesystem or maybe cryhavoc system)

Polyhedron #108-Races of Cerilia – Part 1
Polyhedron #109-Races of Cerilia – Part 2
(as far as I have heard these 2 articles are nothing more than a reprint of the stuff in the orginal rulebook for Birthright)

Dungeon #59-Seeking Bloodsilver

Here are the additional articles that I found very much apply to the birthright setting:

Dragon 233-Going to Court (how to handle new PCs in the court setting of a Duke or King)
Dragon 196- The Greatest and Most Honorable Adventure (how to run a political campaign)
Dragon 217-Boons and Benefits (How to handle favors in a court setting)

Polyhedron 108 & 109 is effectively just the races section from the rulebook, with some example character (1/race) tacked on. I was also told there was another Birthright article in a later Polyhedron issue (around issue 120 I believe) but never found it. If anyone else knows about this one please post the info.

Yes it is. When this thread has run its course, could you post a complete updated list so that can replace the one I did for the BRCS? Of course, we are only looking to list specific BR articles and products.

One other product to add to the list is the adventure module "Of Varsks and Winter Witches" that was sent out in limited numbers to gaming stores as a promoting for Tribes of the Heartless Waste. You are unlikey to find a copy of that anywhere though, I only just learned it existed recently.

Could we perhaps convince wizards to release a pdf version on thier site seen as it was originally a non profit project or i'd be quite happy to pay them a few dollars to download it? I am not terribly sure how to contact them properly and I know the board has been officially recognised as it were. Oh and Sure after I get as many positive Articles as I can and verify em all I'll post you an updated list for BRCS :D

A couple more BR articles do appear in Polyhedron as my quick search from issue 100 onwards has revealed.

Polyhedron #111 - A Kingdom for Every Player
Polyhedron #130 - Strange Bedfellows

The article in issue #111 is just talking about the PS books and has nothing of value IMO.

The adventure "Strange Bedfellows" is in issue #130 and was put in there as the PS of Hogunmark also came free with that issue (I think, can't remember back that far). It is short (4 pages long) and details a quick trip with Ohlaak the Dragon to investigate a province to help him create a new source holding there. You get to fight off some wolves who want to kill you and Ohlaak and that's about it. Not an overly spectacular adventure, although you could use it in a Hogunmark campaign.

This thread on the wizard's forums is where it is mentioned, and a couple of people have written to ask for copies. Don't know if they have been successful or not, but you could try asking them.

apart from one 3rd ed article I've not found any reference to birthright in any dragon mag above 250 I just search up to 270 manually and saw a count down to 3rd ed so I'm figuring birthright was dead after that point. Now if I can get a hold of the lower mags 200+ (i don't hink birthright existed before then) then I think I will pretty soon have found every one in dragon however it appears polyhedron had quite a bit more sadly I can't find anywhere that is sourcing polyhedron anymore its not under Piazo thats for sure. *sigh* if any one can help our I'd sure appreciate a pointer on where to look.

The article in Dragon Annual #2 is about converting between War Cards and Battle System rules, in part to make it easier to create unique units and handle monsters like dragons.
