Looks good on this end.

Well, there are about 80-90 subscribers to birthright-l right now. Of
those, however, only a few are "active" I am sure in the sense that they
post regularly. As Vicente noted, there does seem to be a few folks who
read more than they post, and posting does tend to drop off a bit in the
Summer--I suspect people have more time to be on their computers during
school....

There does seem to be a regular Summer lull.... Not just to birthright-l
but most of the email lists to which I subscribe. I think it has to do
more with school than anything else. In my experience gaming is a good way
of avoiding studying because its essentially cerebral nature has the
illusion of work and academia--plus, it`s fun, which is what good learning
should be like....

On the other hand, it might just be that the weather is too nice to be indoors.

Personally, I`ve been working like a dog lately. This is the first morning
I`ve had to sit at my computer, have a cup of coffee, and deal with email
in quite a while, and I confess the mindset is returning very slowly...
probably just in time for me to go to work this afternoon.

In any case, it does look like there are some active members to
birthright-l, even if it is Summer, so I hope that is adequate.

Hm. Well, that seems like an error....

Do me a favor, post something to birthright-l entitled "Posting Error" and
let`s see if it gets through.

I hope you find the time to do so - because I only very seldom visit the
BR Board itself, but read everything that is posted on the mailing list.

To be honest, and I`m not quite sure why this is, but I do most of my
active posting in winter RPG-wise. I had already made a decision
sometime back that I wouldn`t be posting anything up until winter.

Also, half-made material and what-if ideas such as those I like to
post tends to get bashed by the people on the list so next time I was
hoping to post a finished project which has been taking me awhile to
make due to some work conditions this month (which will continue into
next month).

I too do most of my posting in the fall and winter.

On another matter, however... I posted to the list
over a month ago, but nothing ever came of it. All
posts I attempt to make on BR.net are eaten by the new
board and do not appear.

These have been the first messages I have seen to the list in a long
time. Hmmm.. I may have gone to "no messages" when my email inbox was filling up.

Lee.
