View Full Version : Modules, best and worst

The best module I've ever been through as a player was, by far, the
Bloodstone Pass trilogy. Most of my friends would say the same.

Many of them, however, would now say "Night below," which is also
my answer to the question: "what's the best module you've ever run?"

The WORST module I ever went through was Desert of Desolation.
Lots of traps, lots of bad guys, no XP, no cash, no magic. It actually
gave me a headache.

The Bloodstone Pass Trilogy doesn't include H4: The Throne of Bloodstone
does it?
I noticed that the adventure was recently added to the TSR web site.

Mine would be Ravenloft or Chateau de Amberville but what does this
have to do with Birthright?

Hello:

IMHO, the best AD&D modules I have ever played are all old:

* The Sentinel and The Gauntlet (UK2, UK3)
* Destiny of Kings (N3)
* Ravager of Time (I8)

Ah... they don't do modules like that...

Bye,

Xavier

Well let me see. . .Birthright is an AD&D world. AD&D modules are
adventures designed to be run in AD&D worlds. Birthright GMs read this
list. GMs generalyl like to know what's availible and what other GMs
thought was good or bad. . .

Some of the modules that have worked best for me are:

* Temple, Tower and Tomb
* Dragon Mountain
* City of Skulls
* Dwellers of the Forbidden City

Any of these would work well in a BR campaign - I plan on integrating them into
my BR campaign quite soon. So far, I have pretty much stuck to those in
Legends...Kings, numerous Dungeon adventures, the adventure at the back of
the Rjurik Highlands accessory.
