I use the S and P system in my current campaign and the biggest problem
I had was converting the various priesthoods into point form. Some with
their granted abilities(Ruornil) go way beyond the point limit.

I believe that almost all "standard" character types and races are over the
limit for points!! The high elf, for instance, has 50 points worth of
abilities, whereas a made-from-scratch high elf only gets 40 points. The
reason for this is explained somewhere in the S&P book, but I don't remember
where. Therefore, I'd just convert the priesthoods with all their standard
abilities in place and try to find a balance of how many points a
made-from-scratch character should get. I hear a judgement call!!
Good Luck,
Richard Macri
