How come? The bloodline lies within the character, and is a part of them. =

The current dieties of Cerilia, as I understand it, received their power =
from the old gods. IMC, this does not give them special power over others =
who are of the same derivation. Thus, although a diety could surely =
strike a character in any way should they choose, I don't see them as =
guardians and procurers of the bloodline.

In your game, then, are the blood abilities granted by the land? In mine, =
the powers are granted originally from the death of the old gods, and from =
there exist independently from the land...
How do others of you out there view the blood abilitys' connections?
