I have a few questions that I can't seem to remember the answers to.
1) Do all Awnsheghlien necessarily have bloodlines of Azrai?
I think that the answer is yes, but I am not certain.
2) Do all Ernsheghlien have bloodlines of Azrai?
I think that the answer is yes, but I am not certain.
3) Finally, when does a scion of Azrai become an awnshegh?
(Are they the scions with the bloodform ability or can someone without
that ability also be an awnshegh?)

Yes, most also have the bloodability of Bloodform (Blood Enemies P 124)

No, Ehrshegh have other bloodlines, and the Blood ability of Bloodtrait, the
difference being that the Ehrshegh has some control over the change that is
occuring. The change is only andvanced when the character want it to.

Generally a Scion's of Azari will become Awnsheghlien when they use their
abilities. Not all Awnshegh have bloodform, eg the siren, white witch, The
Harpy, The hydra etc. To become an Awnshegh you have to accept the evil
bloodline within you and slowly its taint will change you into an
abonmination.
So as long as a Scion of Azari does not use his abilities then there should be
no trouble, but if he does and also has bloodform ability then everytime a
ability is used changes occur, eg if a Scion with bloodform and regeneration,
major loses a hand in battle when it regrows it may now be shriveled and
clawed etc.
Alround Azari is not a good bloodability to have.

1) An Awnsheghlien is a Scion with a bloodline derivation of Azrai that
also has the Bloodform Blood Ability and has begun to transform.
2) An Ersheghlien is a Scion with a Bloodline derivation of any old god
other than Azrai and the Bloodform Blood Ability that has begun to
transform.
3) A scion of Azrai would become an Awnshegh if they somehow gained the
Bloodform Blood Ability and then began to Transform. Until they gained
bloodform they would just be a Scion of Azrai.
