Hail and well met!

Thank to the Undertaker for his insight! I had not really considered the
politcal implications of such an alliance! As a DM I am not terribly
accustomed to throwing such, well, shall we say INCREDIBLE opponents as
the Gorgon at PCs. Most of our other adventurers are just travelers, not
really political figures. I will give this idea some more thought.

As far as the minor awnsheighlen are concerned, it would be nice to know
some more about them, but then again, I suppose, just as with the PS
stuff, we can make up our own. WARNING: I feel making a good awnsheigh
would be about three times as hard as amking a domain description.

On a similar track, what about the Ernsheighlen(sp)? Does anyone know
much about them? The Black Stag of the Seilwode made an appearance in
_Greatheart_, but we really did not get a very good notion of what his
motivations are if he even has any (maybe he was just responding to the
intense evil that he sensed in the forrest). The _Blood_Enemies_ book was a
great compendium of some totally awesome monsters! But it left me hanging
when it came to the Ernsheighlen. Are they as prevalent as minor awnsheighs?
Do they have poltical ambitions similar to the major awnsheighlen, or are
they more or less wanderers who seek to advance good?

BTW, has anyone read _The_Spider's_Test_? Was Michael Endier really of
the blood? Did he have any blood abilities? The Spider is a good
example of an awnsheigh that, while incredibly powerful, was totally
insane! He is very smart, crafty, and deadly, but the blood of Azrai is
robbing him of his mind. I wonder if other awnsheigh are dealing with
the same problem? This malady may not affect the Black Prince (the
Gorgon) because he sounded as if he had pretty well flipped before Desimaar.

Thak

TSR has barely touched on these beings. I think for now they are supposed to
remain a mystery. I'm sure TSR will shed more light on them in an adventure,
or supplement. Until then I use them as wanderers(in a particular region)who
either watch, or promote good at times that they feel they may be able to
tip the balance. These occasions should be so rare that few PCs will ever
see one.

The Spider's Test was a very good book. The portrayal of the Spider, and his
minions was great. Certain parts of that book made shivers go down my back.
The Spider's insanity is a reflection of his old personality, and the
twisting that the Blood of Azrai, has caused. Each Awnsheigh finds its mind,
and personality changed as they gain power, but not all become insane. The
Gorgon is not so much crazy, as he is pure evil. His mind has become focused
on claiming the Iron Throne, and becoming Emperor of Cerilia. As for Michael
Endier, I don't believe he had any blood abilities.
