Well, I'm just about done editing the first chapter of my "Treatice on the
Shadow World." Hopefully I'll finish up tonight (assuming I have the spare
energy). My original plan was to wait for Birthright.net to go up and
publish it there, but I've gotten sorta sick of waiting, and I suppose the
one doesn't necessarily exclude the other. The first chapter has my
opinion on much of what you're asking about, so I'll try and get it out
soon.

The Shadow World is Aebrynis's Border Ethereal Plane. For unspecified
reasons, it has its own qualities of reality, though, unline other Border
Ethereals. Lots of speculation about "how" and "why", but that's pretty
much up to the individual DM.

I for one can't wait to see it. BTW - I don't know whether you remember
it, but what ever happened to the material you were working on about Dark
Sun-style spirits of the land functioning as Sources? It was a while back,
but I dont recall hearing anything from you about it, later, Mark.

Unfortunately I have no input on the Shadow World, but I do for Birthright Net
:)
Just to give a quick status, yes we are working on it, but this far mostly me,
Adam Theo and Arjan Duijs have done most of the work. This is a large workload
on so few people (there are some others working too but) so things are moving
slow. Not to mention I am moving in less than 2 weeks, so my situation isn't
ideal right now. Why am I mentioning this, well I need some help from someone
with some time to spare and a rather decent knowledge of HTML.
Currently the thing that is holding us back is finishing the CSS files (since
my Netscape suddenly doesn't like that any longer and plainly crashes :( and
then implimenting them in what is written. If anyone feel like helping out I
would really appreciate it.
When that and also a very basic contents for the links and review sections are
finished I will launch the site ! Though I would prefeer if a few persons could
volounteer for "beta-testing" first.
The good news is that one guy called Stephane Montabert (not on this list I
think) has started translating the site into french, and is good udnerway in
creating a french mirror of the br.net pages :)
Sindre, tired (it's the middle of the night :) coordinator for birthright.net

It got incorporated into the "Treatice" like many of my other ideas.
Probably not in chapter one, though (although editing is still ongoing,
damn I have too much work to do right now).
Oh, and I think that as incentive to get everyone moved over to the
wizards server, when I do get it done (hopefully tonight, but I said that
a couple of days ago, too) I'll submit it to that server rather than this
one. So, get moved over or miss out!
