Hi, Fellow Birthright Gamers,

I am attending Gencon this year in Milwaulkee and TSR is holding =
a session on once and future worlds, The object of this session is to =
see which worlds from the past we be best to bring back, I have signed =
up for this session and have been confirmed to attend it. Well I came up =
with this idea. Here it is. If everyone on the birthright mailing list =
could send me an email regarding how they would like them to bring back =
birthright (make the email sorta of short and to the point, about a =
paragraph long), then I could print these out and bring them all to the =
session and show them how many people are still interested in =
birthright, and hopefully that will carry alot of weight and get them =
interested again. So send me some email's

What a wonderful idea! here's our letter.

While we would love to see the full return of the Birthright line we =
also understand this may not be feasible. However, if the birthright =
material could be intagreated to suport the other worlds of TSR/WotC =
Including regency in the Forgotten Realms, Greyhawk, etc. would make =
these much broader based releases.

Thank you for listening,
Andrew & Annika Morris

Good idea Mark.

Re: Birthright:

While I understand that bringing back Birthright may not be a reasonable
commercial venture for WotC/TSR, what I would like to see is for the Book of
Regency published - either in PDF format to the website or - preferably -
as a finished product.

This book was simply too important to leave out of the series and - to my
understanding - would require very little additional work to make it viable.

The world of Cerilia is more or less done. We gamers can do a lot with a
world now on our own to keep it viable via the Internet. However, what we do
need is the last critical part of the game RULES. Please publish The Book
of Regency. After that - leave us to our own devices.

PDF? How much can that cost you???!!! Give us back a little something -
please!

Well, Now for my two cents worth ;)
I would love to see the Birthright world brought back to life (and
print). I have played in EVERY TSR AD&D world setting at one time or another
and can honestly say that I believe that the Birthright world is far and away
the most rich, intelligent, well put together world setting done by TSR. I
have brought three AD&D haters back into the fold (and buying TSR product) by
running them in a Birthright campaign. The setting just seems to attract
mature and intelligent gamers of all ages. I think that if the world was
brought back with careful marketing it would do very well. If this is
impossable at this time, then PLEASE, at least publish the Book of Regency in
some form. ANY FORM. It is the last of the "core" Birthright soursebooks
needed. It would be a great help to all the Birthright players and by
publishing it in some form you would be giving a nod to a group of gamers
that are VERY loyal.
Thanks,
