Well, as promised I wrote to TSR on the 5th May from the UK asking about
the hiatus of the Birthright line (and briefly pointing out its
merits!).
I still haven't received a response.
Can somebody tell me if the below is a correct address to have used? If
so I hope such letters aren't just binned. If not, I'll send another
copy. Perhaps I'll write again anyway ......
Thanks for any response.
Stephen.

Re : TSR's Birthright Campaign Line
Dear Sirs,
I am writing concerning the suspension of TSR's Birthright campaign
setting.
Last year I was looking forward to the release of the new modules and
sourcebooks only to see them put on hold. Since then, there has been no
news of when you will recommence releasing products for this line.
As a subscriber to Dungeon and Dragon magazines, and a regular AD&D
player with most of the rulebooks released over the last sixteen years
(including everything for the Birthright setting), I feel that it would
be a great shame if this hiatus of TSR's best campaign setting was to
continue.
The setting is unique, with low magic and magic items and (relatively)
low level characters, it encourages storytelling whilst every combat
that takes place is a danger for the characters. Also, every action must
be carefully weighed against the consequences before the characters act
or the ramifications from other realms could be disastrous.
Could you please let me know the current state of the line, and when you
intend to release the next batch of merchandise.
I look forward to hearing from you.
Yours faithfully,
Stephen White.
