I'm grossly uninformed on this subject, but I understand that some aspect of
the BR setting has been imported into RL. IIRC, there was some sort of event
that sucked a village or town from the Vos into RL. Is this correct? Where
can I find more information?

I don't think the info you are looking for is in any BR product. It is in
one of the RL jobbies though, unfortunatly, I don't have the particular RL
work that has this in it.
