I'd like to see a full revision of battle magic and precise rules for what is
affected and what isn't. Rain of Magic Missiles and Hammer Storm (?) both
need to be revised, as do Fireball and similar spells.
I'd also like to see rules for "adventurer" cards after their unit is
dead--can they be targetted personnally?

I think it would be pretty cool if TSR/Wizards brought out complete mass
battle system compatible with most AD&D worlds. Expansion sets accomadating
Birthright fans would be nice. Especially with Battle Magic being used. I
have tried Warhammer, and have even thought of converting BR into to it, but
AD&D keeps pulling me back.
How about a combat system that is fast and considers each round to be
several hours of battle. I would like to see the guys upstairs come up with
a decent mass combat system that everyone can use.

I still think one of the biggest items still missing "in detail" is the
Shadow World -- as many of us had already pointed out.

The Cold Rider; description of the land (yes, I know it's basically
Cerilia but dark; ruins on Cerilia are active in the Shadow World; yada,
yada, yada); more on the connection between the Shadow World and
Cerilia; a little more of the "undead connection" as in the novel
Greatheart; etc., etc.

Basically, I'd like TSR to release the "pending" (or not pending --
depending on TSR's/WofC's view de jours) work on the Shadow World that
was "promised" last year in the old TSR/WofC catalog.

I think that this "the" largest gap in the campaign set because it's
threaded throughout all of the accessories but it's the least described
- -- leaving a lot up to interpretation.

That's that.

I've thought for some time now that TSR should design a mass combat game.
Separate from AD&D, for those that just want to slay 'em in their thousands, but
also able to blend with AD&D. After all, TSR used to mean Tactical Studies
Rules (if I remember correctly), and the company started out making wargames.
With the success of D&D, TSR eventually switched to almost entirely RPGs, but
the roots are still there. Hmm...it's their 25th anniversery, I've
noticed...perhaps the time for such a product is upon us...
