Speaking of which, has anyone come up with any explanations regarding these
quakes? I find it hard to believe that they are due to the treads of the
boar. What could the Gorgon be doing to cause such violent tremors I
wonder????

The suggestion is that the land itself is rebelling against the Gorgon. In
fact the Brecht sup says that the Gorgon doesn't seek sources in Kiergard
for fear of tainting his existing sources.
